El Dorado Women's Golf Club - Tournament Explanation

BAKERS DOZEN - 13 best holes less 1/2 handicap.

BEST NINE - Select 9 lowest scoring holes less 1/2 handicap.

BETTER NINE - Front or back nine less 1/2 handicap.

BLIND NINE - Nine holes are drawn by table and posted after play less 1/2 handicap.

CRIERS - Revert 3 worse holes back to par, subtract from net.

CRISS-CROSS - Choose the best score from #1 or #10, #2 or #11, etc. ending with 9 holes for your score, subtract 1/2 handicap.

CROSS COUNTRY - Choose the best score from #1 or #18, #2 or #17, #3 or #16, etc. ending with 9 holes for your score, subtract 1/2 handicap.

DIS & DAT - Net less total of worst hole & best hole.

DR. PEPPER - Subtract holes #10, 2 and 4 from net.

EASY HOLES - 9 easiest rated holes, less 1/2 handicap.

EVEN HOLES - Total of even numbered holes less 1/2 handicap.

FIELD STROKES - Subtract total putts (green only) from net.

FIRST FIVE/LAST FOUR - Total first five and last four holes for 9 hole score, less 1/2 handicap.

FORTY NINER - Total of par fours, less 1/2 handicap.

HATE'EM - Before teeing off, circle two holes that you absolutely HATE. Subtract the score on these 2 holes from net.

IF IDA - Net less two worst holes.

MATCH V. PAR - Take strokes where they fall. Par is opponent. Mark each hole as follows: lower than par - Plus (+), higher than Par - Minus (-), Equal to par - Zero (0). Most pluses wins.

MIDDLE NINE - Total holes 6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 & 14 less 1/2 handicap.

MOST PARS - Count 1 for each par or better with handicap.

MUTT AND JEFF - Total of 3 pars and 5 pars, less 1/2 handicap.

NET PLUS PUTTS - Add total putts (green only) to net.

ODD FELLOWS - Net score less worst 3 par, 4 par and 5 par.

ODD HOLES - Total of odd numbered holes less 1/2 handicap.

O.N.E.S. - Total holes starting with O-N-E-S less 1/2 handicap.

ONE BIG RAT - Net PLUS score of worst hole.

POKER - Net plus 5 best holes.

POKER WITH A JOKER - Net plus 4 best holes & worst hole.

SELECTIVE NINE - Player circles 9 holes before teeing off. Gross on those holes, less 1/2 handicap.

SNAKE EYES - Net, less worst hole on front and worst hole on back.

T'S & F'S - Holes beginning with these letters, total less 1/2 handicap.

THREE BLIND MICE - Net MINUS three worst holes.

THREE PAR DELIGHT - Net LESS total of all 3 pars.

THREE PAR MISERY - Net PLUS total of all 3 pars.

THREE-THREE-THREE - Total of 3 best 3-pars, 3 best 4-pars and 3 best 5-pars, less 1/2 handicap.

TIN WHISTLE - Strokes as they fall: bogie = 1 point, par = 2 points, birdie = 3 points, eagle = 5 points, double eagle = 10 points.

TRICK OR TREAT - Enter scores as usual. Results announced the following week by Daily Tournament Chair.

TWENTY ONE - Net less 2 points for each chip-in & 1 point for each putt.

YOU PICK-EM - Circle 9 holes before tee off. Total less 1/2 handicap.
