Your club has
authorized Internet Posting for its members. The link
for registration and for posting is found on the WPLGA
Web Page on the Women’s Golf Website. Please read
this entire form before you register to post online!
NOTE: If you have
already registered for netPost through another
association, do not register again. Please
contact your Handicap Chair or email Clare Ittner at
clareibear@dslextreme.com and we will add your WPLGA
Club to your Personal Profile. PLEASE do not contact
Deb or reply to Deb Long’s email address. Send questions
TO CLARE!
MEMBER PROFILE
SET-UP NEEDS
Your member number and name as
on your monthly index card are necessary to
set up your profile.
You will be asked to enter a
password for posting on the internet. Please make
note of this password in a secure place. The
password is necessary to insure that you are the
only one posting scores to your profile on the
internet. You will need it each time you post.
If you do not remember your password, you will have
to go through the set up process again.
IMPORTANT!! When you return to
post a score, scroll down the page to the SECOND
LIGHT GREEN BOX saying…”If you have already
registered…” If you click on the new user
Register Here (first light green box) again, you’ll
get the message that someone else (actually
yourself) has registered with your number.
TO REGISTER
Go to
http://www.womensgolf.org/wplgasc/. This is the
address of the WPLGA web page. You must register on
this page. When you post, RETURN to the same
address. Do not post from another address or
site.
When the page appears, you may first
wish to bookmark this page for future access. Scroll
down to Internet Score Posting Log-In Page,
click on that link (the words) to set up your
personal profile.
Follow the directions and read all
information on the set-up page. Keep a record of
your password.
WHEN YOU HAVE SET
UP YOUR netPost PROFILE
Click on the PERSONAL PROFILE
tab or View Your Profile.
WARNING: The club listed when a
member registers for internet posting will be the
club to which the member belongs that is the lowest
alphabetically from any association. It
may not be an authorized club and it may not be a
WPLPGA club. The authorized club MUST be added to
your personal profile. If you are not allowed to
post, contact the email address for Clare Ittner.
You must include your name, member number and the
club you belong to that has allowed internet
posting. She will add that club for you. You cannot
add the club.
If the club you see is not your
initial WPLGA club but does allow internet posting,
that’s ok. All scores will go to every club
to which you belong. Any authorized club to which
you belong may still be added to your profile.
If you click on help at the top of
this page, you will see instructions that you may
want to print until you become more familiar with
the services. Click on the Print This Page
link in the upper left hand corner.
The instructions clearly explain
each feature. Please take the time to read these
instructions.
Our email contact (clareibear@dslextreme.com)
is found on that page for changes to your club
information.
Do not contact Deb Long or
respond to the automatic email sent to you when you
post a score.
When you post, if the course is
in the Southern California area, always use the
Southern California data provided for you.
If you mistakenly enter the wrong
course, score, date, ratings, ALWAYS
contact Clare Ittner at
clareibear@dslextreme.com.
ALWAYS REMEMBER TO POST WHERE YOU PLAY WHENEVER
POSSIBLE!
The USGA Handicap System, Section
5-2a states that posting scores in person
immediately following the round at the course where
the round is played is the preferred way
to expose scores to peer review. This method
of posting must be used whenever possible.
HOWEVER, it may not always to possible because e.g.,
the pro shop is closed, the computer is down, power
outage, emergency situations; no posting computer is
available at course, no IGN link on course computer,
etc. THESE ARE SITUATIONS for netPost!
Your Club Handicap Chair will most
likely give you instructions regarding the posting
of scores for your club play days. If you
forget to post on a club play day. Your HC may
instruct you not to post those scores on the
Internet. This could result in double posting as
HC's will be entering those scores at the course.
If you play outside the Southern
California area and there is no IGN link for
posting on that course computer OR the course is not
in the So Cal list provided, you will need the date
played, course, tees played and course and slope
ratings for WOMEN for the tees you
play. The women’s rating may be on the scorecard.
Check to see if they are current. If not ask for the
current WOMEN’S ratings. You may post
these scores on netPost.
ALWAYS VERIFY THE DATA AFTER YOU
ENTER THE SCORE and BEFORE YOU SUBMIT IT!
For further assistance, contact
your Handicap Chair.
