PLAYDAY: Friday - 8:36A.M. to 10:45A.M. - must check in at tournament table 30 minutes before scheduled starting time.
 
GENERAL MEETING: First Friday of the month, if course is closed due to rain, the meeting will be held on the next Friday.
 
STARTING TIMES AND CANCELLATIONS: The starting time sheet for the next Friday will be at the tournament table. A member may sign in a threesome, foursome or fivesome; she must play in that group and notify each player of the time. DO NOT sign in any other groups. Do not make any erasures unless approved by the Daily Tournament Chair or her assistant.*
 
Starting times and cancellations may be made by calling Penny McDonnel at (714) 897-1977. Cell (714) 606-3015. If you DO NOT cancel by 8:00P.M. ON TUESDAY, there is an automatic penalty of $10.00 payable before your next starting time. If the course charges the club a full green fee, then you are responsible for the green fee, but not the $10.00. For starting times call any day but no later than 8:00P.M.
 
Starting times canceled due to rain will carry over to next Friday.
 
RAIN POLICY strictly enforced. If weather is questionable, please call starter by 7am. Only course manager may cancel a playday, if you are a no show you will be accountable for green fee. Phone number to course 562-430-5411. Phone number to restaurant 562-795-7751.
 
GUEST DAY: Any Friday of the month if a time is open. Guest pays an entry fee of $2.00 and member must play in same group with her guest. One guest per member. Same guest can only play 3 times per year.
 
DAILY TOURNAMENTS AND RINGER: To be eligible for the ringer, member must pay a $2.00 entry fee. You must complete eighteen holes to be eligible for daily, ringer, low-net, chip-ins, eagles and hole-in-one. Player who "X's" out, not eligible. The Daily Tournament fee is paid with your annual membership.
 
Script for daily and ringer tournaments will be distributed on meeting day at the beginning of each quarter.
 
Turn in two scorecards (signed by two players) to the Daily Tournament Chairman. Enter weekly tournament score, ringer score, chip-ins, eagles, first time to break 100, 90 & 80 in appropriate place in the book. Do not sign the card if you question a player's score and report to the rules committee.
 
All play will be in flights according to handicap. Playoff for monthly low net winners, over the field, in February. A member scoring a natural eagle will be awarded $15.00.
 
The most improved golfer must have posted 10 scores on ladies day and been a member for one previous calendar year.
 
QUALIFYING TO BECOME A MEMBER: New members joining El Dorado Women's club must have a 29.0 handicap index or less and based on 5 posted scores. She must fill out an application which will be turned in to the membership chairman. A copy of her official, current index card and a check for the cost of membership will be turned in at this time. You may also qualify by playing with a Board Member or a past longstanding Board Member. You must score 107 from the long tees or 105 from the short tees. If you fail to qualify on your first attempt, you have 3 months to continue to attempt to qualify. The Daily Tournament Chairman will assign you a tee time and the group you play with will be at her discretion. Please enter your score after each round in the Qualifying Book. As soon as you qualify you may fill out an application, pay your dues, turn in an additional 4 score cards from recent rounds of golf, and become a member of El Dorado Women's Golf Club.
 
ELIGIBILITY OF DAILY AND MAJOR TOURNAMENTS: For the invitational a member must have posted 6 scores on Ladies Day, January 1st to July 31st.
 
For the Club Championship a member must have an active handicap and have posted 8 scores on Ladies Day, beginning from 1st day of previous years Club Championship. Member must play all 3 days of Club Championship for scores to count. If the Club Champion has not met eligibility requirements she may be invited to play at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
 
Participation in Team Play counts as a Ladies Day for the above tournaments.
 
A new member joining after the last day of September WILL NOT be eligible for daily or major tournaments until January 1st of the following year.
 
HONORARY MEMBER: A member reaching her 70th birthday providing she has been a member of El Dorado Women's Golf Club for at least 5 years.
 
EXPENDITURES: Any proposed expenditure of $100.00 or more, not provided for in the budget, will be posted for one month prior to vote by the membership.
