PLAY DAYS AND STARTING TIMESel-do-sun

Play days are on Fridays. The first tee time is at 8:36.  Members are asked to check in at the tournament table 30 minutes before scheduled starting time.  Starting times and cancellations may be made by calling or emailing KATHY QUOCK.  If you do not cancel by 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, there is an automatic penalty of $5 payable before your next starting time.  If the course charges the club a penalty or a green fee, you are responsible for that, but not the club’s $5 penalty.

DAILY TOURNAMENTS

The daily tournament fee is paid with your annual membership.  To be eligible for the ringer, members must pay $3 entry fee at the beginning of the month.  You must complete 18 holes to be eligible for the daily, ringer, low-net, chip-ins, eagles and hole-in-one.  Players who “X” out are not eligible.

Members scoring a natural eagle will be awarded $15.  Players must pay $5 before making a hole-in-one to be eligible to win the Hole-in-One Fund.

Script for daily and ringer tournaments will be distributed on meeting day semi annually.

The Most Improved Golfer awarded at the end of the year must have posted 10 scores on ladies day and have been a member for one previous calendar year.

GUESTS

A guest can play any Friday of the month if a time is available.  Guests pay a fee of $2 and the member must play in the same group as her guest.  The same guest can only play 3 times per year.

GENERAL MEETING DAY

First Friday of the month. The agenda is planned to keep members informed of the Club activities and rule changes. Comments are welcome in the discussions.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP ELIGIBILITY

Members must have an active handicap and have posted 12 scores on Ladies Day beginning from the first day of the previous year’s Club Championship.  Participation in Team Play counts as a Ladies Day for qualification.

HONORARY MEMBERS

A member qualifies to be an honorary member when she has reached her 70th birthday and has been a member of El Dorado Women’s Golf Club for at least 10 years.

RAINY DAYS

The rain policy is strictly enforced.  Only the course manager can cancel a play day due to rain.  If you are a no-show, you may be accountable for a green fee.  If the weather is questionable, call the pro shop for instructions.  The course will not cancel a play day if rain is in the forecast, only if it is actually raining at the course at the time of play.  Play days cancelled due to rain will carry the starting times over to the next Friday.
